How to View and Understand Achievements in devActivity
The Achievements section on devActivity.com provides a clear overview of a developer's growth and contributions. Follow these steps to navigate to and understand the key metrics within this powerful feature.
Navigate to a Developer's Performance Review
From your devActivity dashboard, go to 'Analytics' and select 'Performance Review'. Choose the specific developer whose achievements you wish to view.
Locate the 'Achievements' Section
Scroll down the 'Performance Review - Details Page' until you find the dedicated 'Achievements' section. This section is typically found below other performance metrics.
Review Key Metrics
Within the Achievements section, you'll see a table displaying 'Level', 'XP' (Experience Points), and 'Achievements (total received)'. These metrics are presented for the selected period.
Understand Comparisons
To gauge progress and relative performance, observe the comparison columns: 'Previous Period' shows how the developer's metrics have changed over time, while 'Team Median' (available for Open Source and Premium plans) indicates how the developer compares to the average performance of their team.
Identify Specific Awards
Scroll further down to the 'Last Achievements' section. Here, you'll find a list of recent awards and badges, such as the 'Pull Request Prodigy' badge, recognizing specific contributions and completed challenges.
By following these steps, you can effectively track individual developer progress, identify key accomplishments, and gain valuable insights into contributions over time.
